I have already applied for my passport, is it ready?

If you sent your passport application to us by courier we recommend that you check with your courier company that it has been delivered.

You should then allow time for your passport to be processed (depending on your type of application - check What Passport do I need). If you need to travel urgently and cannot wait for your passport to be returned to you please contact your nearest British Embassy/High Commission/Consulate and we may be able to provide you with emergency travel documentation (you will have to pay for this and be asked to provide evidence of the need to travel).
