The Justice and Home Affairs Team is part of the Embassy’s Political Section, and is responsible for the UK’s relations with France as they relate to the following key themes: migration, counter terrorism and justice. The Justice and Home Affairs Team’s responsibilities also include pursuing a dialogue with our French hosts on the European dimension of justice and home affairs, given that much of the practical co-operation between the UK and France in these areas results from agreements at the European level. We are also responsible for bilateral political contacts relating to law enforcement, in partnership with relevant colleagues.
